Bishop, Katherine
Maura (Allan): Died peacefully, with Ed at
her side, on Tuesday October 18, 2005 at K-W
Health Centre of the Grand River Hospital,
age 69 years.
Loving wife of 49 years to Edward Bishop.
She will be fondly remembered by her
nephews, Patrick Allan and Michael Allan,
her sisters in law, Eileen Turner and
Margaret Allan and her cousins, Matthew,
Shirley, Shawn, Shannon and Tammy Kavanaugh,
and George, Amanda and Eric Kavanaugh.
Predeceased by her
parents, Jack and Florence Allan, and her
brothers, Matthew and John Allan.
Kathy was a former
employee of CKCO TV, and Bell Canada where
she retired from in 1996. She was a life
member of St. Anthony Daniel RC Church.
Relatives and friends are invited to share
memories of Kathy with her family at the
Henry Walser Funeral Home, 507 Frederick St.
Kitchener (749-8467) Thursday from 7-9pm and
Friday from 2-4 and 7-9pm.
Her Funeral Mass will be held at St. Anthony
Daniel RC Church, 29 Midland St. Kitchener
on Saturday, October 22, 2005 at 11am. Fr.
Earl Talbot officiating. Cremation will
follow.
As expressions of sympathy, donations to St.
Anthony Daniel RC Church Building Fund or
The Canadian Cancer Society would be
appreciated by the family (cards available
at the funeral home).
A special thank you to
Drs. Pace, Chan and Dundon, also to the
nursing staff at GRRCC and the 6D North
nurses of K-W Hospital. Ed would also like
to thank all their friends and neighbours
who were so wonderful to both Kathy and him
during her illness.
